Life 631

A residential experience unlike any other

Purpose

Life 631A residential* face to face curricular and co-curricular initiative that will equip and empower you to invest in deep and sustaining commitments impacting their life-long pursuit of personal and ministry formation. The heart of LIFE 631 is to prioritize your journey toward Christ and His likeness, growing you emotionally and spiritually in the context of Christian community, and developing your ability to lead and empower others on that same pilgrimage.

*If admitted, on campus living is free, and required.

LEARN

Leads to the MDIV and MAPT degrees. Students participating in LIFE 631 will move through their classes as one cohort.

LIVE

Finding balance in life between study, community, service, and personal formation which is an essential component of sustainable ministry. This is a residential program located in the Ashland Theological Seminary Campus in Ashland, Ohio.

LEAD

By joining our LIFE 631 program you will be resourced and skilled to ministering God’s word in ways that are biblically, theologically, and historically sound, practically faithful and culturally relevant.

PARTICIPATE

  • An on campus residential community (living on campus is required).
  • If admitted in this selective program, housing will be provided at no cost.
  • A LIFE 631 pre and post retreat each year
  • Chapel leadership
  • Weekly journey groups led by select faculty
  • A directed spiritual mentoring program
  • Field Trips to expand cultural and subcultural understanding
  • Ministry Incubators
  • Monthly communal meals
