"Cohelet" stands for "Communicative Hebrew Learning and Teaching." Using methods borrowed from the field of Second Language Acquisition, a team of scholars began drafting and field-testing materials during a project spanning 2006-2008. The materials, samples of which may be viewed on this site, continue to be developed.
