Lynne Lawson

Assistant Director, Institute of Formational Counseling

Lynne's role with the Institute of Formational Counseling and Healing Care Ministries gives her a front-row seat to the work of the Spirit as He transforms lives. She has the privilege of seeing participants experience the healing power of Christ through Formational Prayer. Lynne labors tirelessly to coordinate the details of these seminars and events, interceding for the counselors, speakers, musicians, and participants as she works.

In her own life, Lynne has felt the presence of God from an early age. Her father, James, died unexpectedly when she was just three years old. Though he had not grown up in a Christian home, James became a Christian as an adult and his faith was incredibly important to him. As a child, Lynne was given a vision of the Lord reassuring her father, promising that He would be Lynne's Father and would fill that empty space in her life. God has fulfilled that promise, and Lynne has felt His presence so closely over the years. She is constantly amazed at the extravagance of His great love as He cares for her, meeting her in the big and small moments of every day.

Lynne is a busy lady, always on the go! She loves working out at the gym or getting her hands dirty in the yard. She also has an eye for interior decorating and can't resist shopping for a good deal. In her free time, Lynne loves theatre or soaking up a good Jane Austen book. Above all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, and their two grown children.
