Terry Wardle

Dr. Wardle is a well-respected teacher and author, both locally and globally. His humility, conviction, and wisdom are a natural draw for those seeking to learn more about the depths of Christ. Dr. Wardle loves the daily opportunity to journey with students, enjoying a front row seat as they grow, heal, and reach out to touch the world in Christ's name.

Dr. Wardle’s ministry extends even beyond the students of ATS, as he speaks at seminars, conferences, and churches and as he directs the Institute of Formational Counseling, Healing Care Ministries, and Healing Care Ministries International. During his own season of deep brokenness, Dr. Wardle met Christ as he never had before, and it is that type of transformational encounter that he desires to see in the lives of those who participate in these organizations.

Dr. Wardle and his lovely wife, Cheryl, live on a cozy farm outside of Ashland, where he enjoys getting his hands dirty with farm upkeep and carpentry. His hobbies also include golfing and fishing, especially if he has the chance to fish in Colorado. Above all, Dr. Wardle loves spending time with his children and grandchildren, who are full of personality and passion.
