Discerning the Call

The question of how we discern the Lord’s call in our lives is one of the most significant decisions any Christian will need to make.

Clearly, God does not call everyone to a position of leadership in his church, though he does expect all of us to yield ourselves completely to him in whatever career we find ourselves.

But, there are a few things that hold true about discerning your calling, and in this article Dr. Dale Stoffer, Professor of Historical Theology at Ashland Theological Seminary, outlines what he’s learned from decades of working closely with both ministers and seminary students.
