Thriving in Seminary, a component of our Thriving in Church Ministries program, creates spaces for students that focus on helping them to thrive, not just survive, in seminary and beyond. In support of our core values of Community and Spiritual Formation, we have designed a variety of experiences to help students experience the abundant life that Jesus spoke about (John 10:10).
Each of our experiences are designed to help you:
Develop a deepening self-awareness and spiritual well-being, for your own benefit and for your impact in the world
Develop meaningful connections with fellow students and experienced mentors
Experience safe places to share both the joys and challenges of your journey, as you seek to grow in your relationship with Christ and others
You can choose from the following cohorts:
Virtual Bi-weekly Small Groups – These groups meet every other week via Zoom during the fall semester. New groups will launch in January. Options include:
*NEW* Virtual Healing Care Group – This group will follow the Healing Care Group Curriculum, which has been carefully designed to welcome you on a journey into the heart of God, into a safe Christian community, and into the past events that have shaped you, positioning you for profound transformation. This group will span fall and spring semesters, meeting every other Monday night from 6 to 9 pm (seven sessions in the fall, six sessions in the spring). This group is a significant commitment, but well worth it!
