Kay Kasberg  LPCC-S has helped to provide critically needed mental-health services to the underserved in Central Ohio through Hope Counseling Center. This is an unusual counseling center, because it is nestled right in the middle of a food and clothing pantry: Center of Hope, in Whitehall, OH. The clinicians at Hope Counseling  Center regularly treat a broad range of conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma related disorders, relationship issues, and other psychological and emotional problems. Many clients are treated for conditions resulting from abuse, violence and oppression. Services are offered on a sliding scale basis or using insurance, and no one is turned away because of lack of ability to pay.  She currently serves as the clinical supervisor for the interns/counselors who serve there. She has a degree in psychology from the Ohio State University, and a master’s degree in clinical pastoral counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary
