Timothy Crow

Dr. Timothy Crow

Dr. Crow was born and raised in NE Ohio, and currently live in Stow, Ohio.  He came to faith as a high school student through the ministries of The Chapel in Akron, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University, but transferred to Moody Bible Institute in 1983. Tim finished MBI in 1986, and beyond that received a Th.M. degree in Old Testament/Hebrew from Dallas Theological Seminary and Ph.D. in Oriental Studies/Archaeology from University of Liverpool (U.K.).  Tim had the privilege to sit under Professor Alan Millard in his doctoral studies. His research interests are in the area of the Golan in the Late Bronze and Iron Age periods.  He and his family served as missionaries in post-Communist Romania from 1990-2003, where he taught at Emmaunel University in Oradea and was engaged in church-planting ministries. Currently, he serves as pastor at Firestone Park Baptist church.   He enjoys teaching at Ashland Theological Seminary and at the University of Akron (History and Ancient studies). When Tim is not pastoring, teaching or  family, he is an avid runner, and thrive running ultramarathons (100 & 200 + milers!).
