The heart of LIFE 631 is to prioritize your journey toward Christ and His likeness, growing you emotionally and spiritually in the context of Christian community, and developing your ability to lead and empower others on that same pilgrimage.

Finding balance in life between study, community, service, and personal formation which is an essential component of sustainable ministry.

By joining our LIFE 631 program you will be resourced and skilled in ministering God’s word in ways that are biblically, theologically, and historically sound, practically faithful and culturally relevant.

The following programs are eligible to join LIFE 631:

Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy

Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (MACM)

LIFE 631

LIFE 631 was inspired by Mark 6:31 where Jesus and the disciples are in the midst of a busy, chaotic moment in ministry, and Jesus says to His disciples, “Come away with me and get some rest.”

In LIFE 631, you will experience a residential face-to-face curricular and co-curricular initiative that will equip and empower you to invest in deep and sustaining commitments that impact your life-long pursuit of personal and ministry formation. When you join LIFE 631, you will experience the following:

  • Housing costs will be underwritten up to 24 months for MACM students, and up to 36 months for MDIV and MDIV Chaplaincy students
  • Move through classes as one cohort
  • Engage in an on-campus residential community (living on campus is required)
  • Qualify for residential scholarships pending availability
  • Attend a pre-and post-retreat each year
  • Lead Chapel services with your cohort
  • Participate in weekly journey groups led by select faculty
  • Study with others who share your calling
