Charlotte is an indispensable key to the vision and structure of Ashland Theological Seminary. Her true calling in life is to lavish grace, support, and service on others, and she does that well. Her enthusiasm and laughter are contagious and encouraging. Charlotte truly knows how to care for others out of the overflow of Christ’s love within her.

Charlotte grew up as a “pastor’s kid”; her father, Rev. Robert Baker, is Pastor Emeritus at First United Methodist Church in Mansfield. Charlotte’s parents have been an anchor in her life, keeping her tethered to the important things.

Charlotte enjoys traveling with her husband, Michael. The Coles also savor every moment spent with their grown children, who have grown into beautiful adults, and their precious grandchildren!
