Dr. William Udotong is currently a missionary with the International Fellowship of Bible Churches (IFBC), serving as Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Lecturer at the Africa Center for Theological Studies in Lagos, Nigeria. He has previously distinguished himself as a leader, first as a pastor, then professor at West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS) in Lagos, progressing to Academic Dean, Dean of Student Affairs and Vice Provost for Spiritual Formation. His last assignment at WATS was that of Provost.
Dr. Udotong currently serves as the Africa Director of the Cornerstone Foundation, Easley, SC,USA. He also serve on the board of Cornerstone Foundation. He also serve as adjunct Professor in several institutions including Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, OH and Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY.
Educationally, William obtained bachelor and masters degrees from the Universities of Uyo and Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He also earned a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling and a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky in the U.S. He completed his first level of Clinical pastoral education at the VA Medical Centre, USA. His areas of specialization and research include Leadership, Counseling, Anthropology for Christian Mission, Research Methods, Migration and Global Christianity with an emphasis on global migration from the South to the North.
An ordained minister with the International Fellowship of Bible Churches, USA, William has served as a pastor for several year with a Nigerian indigenous church known as the Deeper Life Bible Church. William is married to Victoria and they have four daughters and a son.« Back to Staff
