Tyler Hudson joined the seminary last fall semester as Visiting Assistant Professor of Counseling.
Tyler received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies (with Highest Honors) from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling (with Honors) and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (with Honors) from Trinity International University. He completed his Ph.D. in Educational Studies and Counselor Education at The Ohio State University where he has also served as an Instructor. The focus of his dissertation is Identifying Attitudes and Barriers to Mental-Health Help Seeking Among Middle-Aged Men in Ohio: A Mixed Method Analysis.
Tyler is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has worked with veterans organizations and served as a Chaplain Assistant for the Ohio Army National Guard. He and his wife Jamie reside in Delaware, Ohio with their two sons, Ford and Crew.
