Dr. Shane L. “Doc” Johnson has taught for ATS since 2000, and for 13 other accredited universities across the US and abroad. Earning a BA in Pastoral Ministries from Southeastern University in 1984, he has pastored 7 churches since then, and was ordained in 1987 with the Assemblies of God. He earned his MDiv in Bible in 1997, and his DMin in leadership in 2003, both from ATS. He has been married to Kathy (RN, MSN) since 1981. They have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Having traveled widely and ministered abroad, Doc Johnson is also an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys collecting fine leather bound editions.
