Our counselors are graduate students in the final phase of their clinical mental health training. Each one is supervised by licensed faculty and professionals, ensuring that every client receives thoughtful, informed and ethical care.

Yes. Services through the Smetzer Counseling Center are completely free for students, staff and community members. Donations are appreciated but never required.

Not at all. While our approach is grounded in a Christian worldview, we welcome individuals of all faiths—or none at all.

Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes, scheduled weekly or as needed.

You can let us know your preferences during intake. While we can’t guarantee placement, we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes. All sessions follow strict confidentiality guidelines under HIPAA and are overseen by licensed clinical supervisors.
